Social Clauses: Working For You
O’Hare and McGovern were well represented at the recent “Social Clauses: Working for You” event at Colaiste Feirste School, Belfast.
This meeting was held by the Department of Culture, Arts and Leisure to give an status report on the Regional Stadium Programme, social clauses.
The opening address was given by the Minister for Culture, Arts and Leisure, Caral Ni Chuilin to representatives from DCAL, the NI Strategic Investment board, local employment opportunities coordinators as well as speakers from the three main Stadium development projects namely Windsor Park, Kingspan Stadium and the forthcoming Casement Park project.
Taking centre stage was our own staff members, Kerry Scanlon, Alison Luney and David Watt who gave their personal testimonies as to how they obtained work through the social clause requirements and how they are continuing to work successfully with O’Hare & McGovern.
